LAWRENCE K. JACKSON is a journalist, host, producer and public speaker. He is currently the newest anchor for NBC's digital news show  "Stay Tuned.” Based in New York City, the program has more than 30 million monthly viewers, three-quarters of which are under the age of twenty-five. Before joining NBC News, Jackson signed with VIACOM as one of the hosts for the reboot of MTV's iconic 'Total Request Live.’

His meteoric rise began as an on-air host for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ music cable network, Revolt TV. As their New York correspondent, he provided live news hits, and breaking news coverage. Over the past five years, he graced the red-carpet of events including: the  ESPY’s, MTV Video Music Awards, Sundance Film Festival,  TIME 100 Gala, the X Games, both the NBA & NFL Draft. Due to his unique interviewing style, Kevin Durant agreed to an exclusive 1-on-1 interview that resulted in a 30-minute special for Revolt, narrated by rapper Wale.

Originally from Spring Valley, New York, Jackson received his degree in Broadcast Journalism from the top-ranked S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. While at Syracuse University, he served as the Vice-President for the National Association of Black Journalists and is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Prior to graduating, he hosted and produced his own show on Syracuse’s student run radio station WERW, as well as interned at both New York’s WBLS radio station and CBS This Morning television show.

Throughout his career, Jackson has interviewed cultural icons including Usher, Adam Silver, Oprah Winfrey and the always controversial Donald Trump. This work  has been featured on ESPN, ABC and Essence Magazine. In addition to his growing professional career, Lawrence is committed to expanding educational opportunities for local youth. He recently collaborated with Results Mentoring: Men on a Mission, a Detroit based community organization for school-aged boys interested in media and journalism.  Within New York State, he frequently partners with the CEJJES Institute, a social justice research and educational facility based in Rockland County.  In 2017, he served as the program’s keynote speaker and mentor to several graduating high school seniors. Although still in the early stages of his career, Lawrence is already making his mark in the broadcast journalism and entertainment world and committed to serving those in his local community.
